Collies' coats seem to be ever changing. Duffy, who is a sable merle, has a lot more black showing up in his coat in the last year. I think he hears me talking about wanting a tri as my 2nd collie, and he figures, "Tri? I can be a tri!! Just watch me!!"
Thanks, everyone! And thanks for the compliment on her name, Dianne. Her "paper name" is No Shrinking Violet, and she gets called Vi, Viola, Violetta, Collie-flower...it really lends itself to nicknames.
Goodness! She better get to the hairdressers! LOL!
ReplyDeleteViolet! You are far too young to be letting yourself go like this! ;P
ReplyDeleteI love watching their coats change.

ReplyDeleteHahaha! That cracked me up Dianne. I've said that I'd like a tri next too, maybe that's what her deal is!
ReplyDeletehaha that's so cute! She needs a "roots touch up kit" lol
ReplyDeleteCollies are so smart, so I wouldn't put it past her!! Btw, Violet is a very pretty name and not used very much (if at all) for a collie.
